I Must Pay Attention

Honoring Old Experiences
:Tucking discomfort away in a moment makes it easier to get by but something is missing. Though scars can be hidden beneath long hair, they still exist and are a part of who I am. It’s time to enjoy its fullness.
A Grading, A Periodical Review
We are taught to follow certain orders and aim for perfection. We should never forget to re-evaluate ourselves on our terms and accept feedback as assistive tools. Without mistakes or external opinions, we wouldn’t continue growing with the changes. Let every review received be a time to assess yourself and figure out how you will move forward.

A memory from thirty-two years ago that continues to remind me of the importance of knowing what I want, why and to concentrate on good intentions. I may not always get what I want but I can know that I work hard for what I want.
How I Choose to Be
A situation becomes what we decide it is. Despite the ease of having knowledge to depend on, how I accept the circumstance determines its outcome. Why waste energy on pinpointing items to blame when I can choose to adapt and work with it?
Discipline is Choosing
Nobody always gets what they want when they want it. To better handle the emotions and feelings when I don’t get my way, it is my responsibility to make the choice that serves my inner commitment rather than holding onto what I thought should be. Only I can know the importance of my desire and control where I guide it.
