I Can Work with Anything
My belief that I can work with anything is rooted in the faith that nobody would be given anything they can't handle. My drive to grow and my experience with hard-to-explain circumstances has made my life unique. My life has trained me to recognize that I do not have full control over what happens, no matter how knowledgeable or experienced I may think myself to be. In order to remain united to life and not separate myself as an individual, I must keep aware of everything, weigh what I know, reflect, and base my choices on a balanced research without assuming that I have control.
Some situations offer me a chance to prove what I know and that can only go as far as how applicable the knowledge I possess is. When I reach my limit, I must be ready to switch back into student mode to reach the full value of the experience. In situations that stump my knowledge, I know that it signals me to step back and observe without judgment to reach the full value. Keeping in mind that nothing I take on must turn out as I desire, letting myself flow and learn from the situation gives me room to pay attention to more than what I think and see. I am more capable of working with adversity when I openly accept it rather than resist it. I won't know where or how it will lead me but I will know that my choice to accept it is the choice to live on.
The affirmation that I can work with anything is the silent choice I make to be aware of what I don't know, to not hold onto anything as if I were in control and to be ready to adapt when I meet what I don't know or expect. It prepares me to recognize losses if I should meet them and be ready to switch directions should the need arise. It keeps me grounded to admit that I don't have to know but can choose to flow with it. It makes the resolve to want to try and learn more meaningful, regardless of the outcome.
