Whether it is dealing with an ailment or a new phase of life, changes require an extra effort for adjustment. Whatever is faced, I intend to meet the required self=care with appreciation rather than resignation. I respect that what happens is a contribution to my development. I accept the responsibility for my self-care.

Inspired by the realization that the pain I suppressed in my past reappears today and trying a different way of dealing with it.

A reflection after realizing that I made life complicated by accommodating others while trying to be myself. There is no pleasing others in self-care.

Thinking about the voice I’ve listened to my whole life and hearing how others want to but aren’t sure how to. I believe it's the voice that helped me to survive and encourage others to work with it daily to embrace who they are.

 Inspired by feeling ghosted and reflecting on how being honest despite disappointing others is a form of self-care.
