The Voice

It’s the voice we all hear but have been taught to ignore and for some, it’s the voice they can’t decide to ignore. This voice is the inner knowing that connects you to all that is. It looks out for you, loves you and, ultimately, it is you. In a world where outward proof is required to prove our worth, the voice tends to be ignored and not trusted. The more it’s ignored the dimmer it gets. Without knowing, proving who we are isn’t about gaining comprehension from other wandering souls because no matter what we produce, we can’t control their perception or choices. Proving who we are is done with and for ourselves. It’s establishing the connection that can’t be witnessed or proven. It’s choosing to listen and trust the voice.
When a person has a disease to live with, to ignore the voice would be to ignore their care. When ailments start to limit abilities, proving outwardly becomes dangerous. Choosing to listen to the voice is getting into the practice of pausing to choose the best option with everything that is known at the moment. Just as workers on call will receive a text or call to randomly resolve an issue, so must the voice be received to resolve limitations. Without listening to the call, a worker could cause a company’s loss of income or job loss and a person with a disease could cause injury or loss of life.
There is no reason to wait for disease or hardship to choose to listen to the voice, it’s always there and intended to guide and love us. To acknowledge it is to embrace our self and accept the love that is always with us. We can only control how we think, feel and act. We must accept that no matter what we do, we can’t control anything beyond our self. Listening to our voice is choosing to love, acknowledge and work with who we are, even if there is no proof to show outwardly. To stay true to who we are is to accept our place and unite with Life.
Over time, we meet more challenges and will practice listening while applying our knowledge and skills to what we hear. An integration of mind, heart and soul is required to reach our full potential. Though we may feel alone amongst other human beings, we are intentionally strengthening our unity. There are no wrong choices, just the consequences of our actions, from which is intended for us to learn from.
