I Have Placed My Best
Without focusing on perfection or what should be, I make a heartfelt connection with what I am doing and know that I am doing my best. How I treat my task will contribute to its result.
How I Choose to Be
A situation becomes what we decide it is. Despite the ease of having knowledge to depend on, how I accept the circumstance determines its outcome. Why waste energy on pinpointing items to blame when I can choose to adapt and work with it?
Discipline is Choosing
Nobody always gets what they want when they want it. To better handle the emotions and feelings when I don’t get my way, it is my responsibility to make the choice that serves my inner commitment rather than holding onto what I thought should be. Only I can know the importance of my desire and control where I guide it.
Transition of What Was
Having knowledge can give me a sense of security but it is not something that must be complete while I am still learning. Choosing to not resist what I discover in order to understand a bigger picture assists me to grow with what happens. Putting past and present together for future reference, I move from what was into what is.
Opportunity to Reacquaint
To prevent myself from believing that life is against me when I meet an opposition, I pay attention to the change and concentrate on knowing myself through it. A challenge indicates something I did not consider and accepting it is my agreement to learn
I Wouldn’t Be Myself Without You
Viewing my soul as the consistent root of my person, I am grateful for its grounded values and how it held me to who I am in difficult moments. For the times I thought I needed to be something else, it saved me by continuing to believe and guiding me to be myself.
The Opportunity to Try
A reflection on how I have come to view challenges that make me question my ability. I am continuously inspired to search for the ways that offer growth. I live to appreciate subtle opportunities rather than assume that I am unable.
I am Capable
Coming across an old affirmation and remembering the trust and determination it helped me to build. Believing in myself and remaining open to learn with challenges is the root of my resilience.
Choosing Acceptance
Reflecting on dealing with adversity and how my choices shaped my life. I have grown a lot and have much to appreciate because I chose curiosity and found my enjoyment. As long as I keep recognizing the ways that I grow, I will find my way to flow.
Fear Transforms Into Curiosity
There is a way of reprogramming what the mind believes. A willingness to experience differently and choosing thoughts carefully will craft a new experience. Allow the learning process to take you farther than where you were.
Positivity and Optimism
A reflection on balance and how extremes work together, I review the reasons why I choose positivity and optimism. Balance requires discipline and reflection to comprehend. Appreciating all parts of a situation makes the experience worthwhile to grow with.
The Life of a Sapling
Imagining what it is like to be a tree while relating to the human experience, I feel peaceful that we are one and the same. Independence and community are supportive during the storms and we all continue growing.
Instead of Perfection
Living with epilepsy taught me that perfection is an illusion. When changes occur, it is best that I know myself, be willing to do my best and work with what is available. Changes are continuous in any situation and I can only offer my best at the moment. What does not turn out has the potential to offer something new.
Every Extra Effort is Self-Care
Whether it is dealing with an ailment or a new phase of life, changes require an extra effort for adjustment. Whatever is faced, I intend to meet the required self=care with appreciation rather than resignation. I respect that what happens is a contribution to my development. I accept the responsibility for my self-care.

My life experience taught me to focus on something to learn rather than feed negative reactions.Sensing change, it is better to flow with the situation instead of resisting or trying to get my way. Allowing life to guide me, I choose to appreciate the moment and make the best of it. Reflecting on the situation can be done after the process has completed.
