Opportunity to Reacquaint

A challenge can easily feel like it is against me as it is something that tests my abilities and pushes me in a different direction. From an opposing opinion to a change in plans, it causes me to pause and reassess where I am at the moment. A challenge helps me to be conscious of change and respect that I must reconsider myself to flow with it.

With every change that occurs I have the opportunity to be mindful of where I am in the big picture. I could be drawn to recognize a progression, assess what I need to change or review my viewpoint of the situation. Whatever the challenge is drawing my attention toward, I always have a responsibility to decide what I will think, say and do about the situation. Pausing helps me to align who I am and what I desire. A mindful review of myself and the situation gives me confidence to trust in my actions moving forward and not lose myself in the chaos.

For whenever I feel challenged, I choose to accept it as subtle guidance to realign myself. I believe that I am being tested as an encouragement to not stray from who I am and what I am working on. Just as a worker would face an evaluation from their boss to determine what they contribute to a company, I take challenges as a sign to review myself and my endeavors.

Where am I? What have I been caught up in lately? Is what I'm doing the right thing right now? If I change right now, will I still succeed with my intentions? Should I be taking a break to care for myself? After a small Q&A session with myself, a challenge feels less against me and I recognize options I had not considered. The challenge becomes an opportunity to expand rather than a limitation that is stopping me. I will move forward knowing that I am being myself rather than being consumed by loss. What starts off as a test easily is a small detour back to myself.
