With poetry as a form of meditation and a way to relate topics that are hard to understand, reflecting on how a poem is like a life makes me realize that expression, in whatever form is chosen, is a way of living. My life evolves with every expression.

Recognizing the many endeavors that start and finish as my life continues on. Appreciating that everything is exactly where it should be. I celebrate that every decision I make is a contribution to who I become, my ultimate purpose.I am grateful for every experience.

Without reflection, what we pick up along our journey remain as forgotten treasures. Bravely unwrapping the package within helps us to realize our significance and stop avoiding who we are. Everything we pick up gives meaning to who we are.
