There is No End to Learning

Goal setting can easily be mistaken as an end destination to reach which gives the concept of learning an end but there is no end to learning because life is continuous, change is inevitable and there is an abundance to discover.

Think of goal setting as planning a path that stems away from where you are to bring you farther, hence to increase your growth. The path can end at an accomplishment and that accomplishment is simply one item to add to your collection.

Now, try not to only think about the collection item when you walk the path you set out. Everything you meet on this path will help you to acquire your collection item and will influence how to apply that item once you obtain it. So be mindful of its twists and turns, flow with it as it rises and falls and evolve with the experience without worrying about the item. The goal is in your mind and you're determined to obtain it but it is only a component and not the whole of your venture.

When you do reach the end of your one path and obtain that goal, take time to reflect on the different parts of your venture. What have you felt and what do you feel? What have you learned? What do you wish to do now that you've collected the goal? How can this goal help you in future endeavors? Could you possibly look back on this venture every time you need to remember a lesson?

In life, we can set goals constantly to motivate ourselves but, like life, there doesn’t have to be an end to learning. The end we create is simply to allow us to pause and appreciate what happened. The way we choose to perceive the goal achieved, the path ventured and the development within us will help us to determine how to continue on and what else we'd like to learn and accomplish.
