The Train of Life
The train keeps zipping by,
On a schedule beyond comprehension.
Passengers are tempted to hop on,
But it doesn't ever stop for when they're ready.
There's comfort in knowing the why and how,
The train allures with its speed and precision.
It's an adventure to follow the train’s whistle
To take the ride before feeling ready
The train travels through all terrains,
Its destination seems like an illusion,
Comprehension grows with every scene that passes by.
Trust that when it stops at a station, the passenger will have experienced and be steady.

Life zips by quickly. I trust it's on a schedule but I don't understand it. There are times when I want to hop on for the venture but don't feel ready. I realize that Life offers the ride but doesn't wait for when we're ready. There would be comfort in knowing the why and how as Life does, it's alluring with its speed and precision. Sometimes, the adventure needed is to follow the call, even when we don't feel ready. Life travels through various situations, teaching with many distractions. The destination doesn't stay clear but comprehension grows after each situation. We can trust that when we make a stop, we will have picked up experience and grown more steady with who we are.
