Multiple Perspectives

When I look back upon my life, I think

How could I possibly get bored? And how could the feeling of loneliness ever last? Life is full of abundance when you choose to see it!

I've come to live my life looking at everything through at least three different lenses before consulting my heart for a conclusion. In sorting through my past, I looked at it from myself back then, who I am today and as a stranger looking in. This helped me to face the hurt of the past, look at the situation from my present perspective and imagine how I'd want to see it if I were someone else. Using multiple perspectives helps me to come out of myself, see the situation with more clarity, recognize changes and relate to others.

The practice of multiple perspectives helps me to get out of myself without leaving myself. I know that I leave what I feel behind temporarily to open myself to what I need to learn. It helps me to also be more forgiving of others in difficult moments. Understanding that everything has unseen multiple layers and is continuously changing encourages me to keep learning and never remain in any set thought. It's important to know what I want and think but it’s also important to remain open to changes. Life is never dull when there's so much to learn and discover. You're never alone when you can relate to so many different things!
