Fear is the Non-Acceptance

Fear is an indicator, a signal that gets me to pay attention at the moment but when fear lingers and stories fester creating restraints, it is a sign of my non-acceptance of what is. I have knowledge, desires and capabilities but the truth of what is cannot be avoided. I always have choices on how I will welcome it and it must start with acceptance. Reflecting objectively I realize that what happens is not only about myself or what I think.  The removal of resistance allows the truth to flow its course alongside me.

Acknowledging fear, I let myself get curious about what the situation is teaching me. Surrendering as a student in uncertainty helps me to open my mind to notice what I don’t yet understand. Disciplining the thoughts and feelings born out of fear, I can focus on what is, concentrate on my desired results and flow with the changes. Fear is a useful indicator and it is my responsibility to listen to what is being communicated to me.
