The Result of Action

The opportunity to know is constantly around us but I can never forget that in order to know I must be willing to begin without knowing and progress toward knowing. Having an exact result isn't necessary to hold tightly onto, as expectation narrows my attention. It is important to know what I want and be willing to work with whatever  happens to achieve it. However the experience unravels, I will have my knowledge and intuition with me. I can apply what I feel is necessary and be open to learning from the results.

For the times that my choices don't align with what happens, I can know that I tried and observe my mistakes for future reference. Making a mistake tells me that I have more to discover and I can be happy with the small lesson that adds more. Being wrong encourages me to pay more attention to what I am doing and look for more ways to achieve my goal. Not completely knowing when trying something keeps me alert to what I am doing and what happens. Without expectation, the possibilities are endless.
