Sharing Aloud

Do you ever have moments when your thoughts (creative ideas, emotions, memories) are bubbling and you’re not sure what to do? Do you ever get the feeling that you just need to let it out? What if sharing is a way of learning and you can make it into a growth experience? Mistakes and external judgments aren’t threats when you know that you’re out to learn. It makes the experience less about what people might say or think and more about wanting to express yourself and appreciating the experience.

Even though we don’t always have our thoughts organized when we share, we can hear what we want to improve as we are speaking. The effort to articulate our thoughts to another is working our mind to organize and connect our layers of thinking. We’re learning new connections as we are sharing aloud. Even if we don’t have an audience, to talk aloud as if we had one will help us to release, be more conscious and organize.
