Feeling the Love of the Season

I feel the changing seasons and an air of anticipation rises within me. Autumn colors are always the sign to start the gift-shopping season. With visions of family gatherings and merry feasts, I feel a shiver of excitement. 

I used to love wandering the shopping mall thinking about every loved one I'd be meeting at holiday gatherings. Imagining delighted smiles awakens childhood memories and brings me warmth as the weather chills. A stroll through the mall was a reminder of the abundance around me and I could appreciate the love I held. 

After the shopping is complete,there is the creative process of wrapping gifts to keep me reminded of my loving family. Thinking of them warms me up with joy. 

During the Christmas season, gift-giving is more than just purchasing gifts to give away, it is a time to review the love I have, find ways of giving back and appreciating the joyful love that constantly surrounds me. I love feeling the love of the season!
