Encouragement to Change

As intelligent and capable as I would like to believe that I am, life is constantly changing and showing me what I don't yet know. As important as it is to appreciate the small blessings that add to the richness of life, it is equally important to appreciate the subtle guidance offered in opposition. When a sudden change in plans or a glitch in smooth travel occurs, it's easy to get caught up in reactions but when I let go of annoyance and observe objectively, I find a purpose that merits altering the original plan. Whether it helps me to be more conscious of myself or steers me to do something new, welcoming the opposition helps me to release expectations, open up to learning  and make it easier to change with the situation. What I envision isn't always fulfilled and it’s enough to know that I didn't waste energy on regrets because I chose to grow with the situation. A failure will never end me because I choose to perceive it as an opportunity urging me to grow more!
