The Knowing

A knowing deep within guided beyond fear and offered love and growth. Sparking curiosity when uncertainty arose, trust that all would be well fortified with every trial. Hope blossomed in times of need and acceptance dissolved expectations. With the belief that all is as it should be and that control is an illusion, peace was found at the end of each situation and flowing forward was natural.

This knowing became a tool for survival. A shield against the fear that circumstances evoked, an understanding that a role was played for Life and a drive to keep learning when sense couldn't be made, knowing   was a sense that brought peace and assured worth in existence.

There was a time when one was weakened by the surmounting pressures. The knowing faded as the mind overwhelmed the heart and drowned the signal. The days of acceptance and discovery became harder and the shadows veiled the light.

The knowing never fully disappeared and it spoke in new ways. It took risk and open honesty to hear it once more. Its presence is a reminder of the joy that acceptance, patience and wonder made Life worth living, no matter the circumstances.

In Life, we are spiritual beings navigating physical bodies. We tend to find it easier to tend to what we can see and forget the greater part of ourselves. The voice within that helps us to know is constantly there and it’s our responsibility to listen to it to be who we are. Our knowing is unique to us, can be heard by no other and a great assistance in our choices.
