Successful Participant in Growth
Have you ever got caught up in trying to meet what you were taught success would be? Did you feel uncomfortable in a quiet moment and think that you were unproductive? In those moments, did you consider the small things you did and didn't take time to appreciate?
For now, you could be guided to take a look at yourself before moving into something else. This could be your time to be unproductive so you will be of assistance when you're called upon.
Before you call yourself lazy or determine yourself as a failure, let's pause to review the whole picture. Up until now, have you had moments when you had to accept changes without control? Did you do your best to not turn away, even if you didn't understand why it was happening?
For the changes you didn’t turn away from, do you recall doing your best to work with it, even if you felt uncertain? Did you choose to see it through while hoping for the best? Let's remember that life is full of ups and downs that unexpectedly test our resolve in the moment. Even when all has been well and moving forward, life will offer us timeouts to ground ourselves for what is coming. The demands we create and push ourselves to meet aren't always set knowing what shifts will come or with our well-being in mind. In accepting a quiet moment for ourselves without judgment, we can temporarily let go of our demands to learn where we are in the changes. A small review of the path and appreciation for what has already happened will remind us of why we chose to work that path and help us to see how we've already been successful. The path is not yet complete and now may not be the time for production but it doesn't mean that all has been done aren’t valuable contributions. Remembering previous small steps will remind us of our purpose and ability to make our dream come true.
We may not be in control of when the process is complete and we may even misinterpret what completion is but it doesn't mean our efforts have no meaning for the purpose and ourselves. Once we can accept where it is and our role in it, we must patiently work with what's presented to let it come to fruition.
