Every Effort is Worth Trying
Changes are happening at every moment and sometimes I get annoyed when I notice how it messes with the plans I've laid out. Whether it's a traffic jam I didn't see coming or an unexpected request from my child that needs tending, I have the choice to only concentrate on myself and what I desire or open the scope to include the happenings beyond myself. What if the small change is asking me to pay attention to what I missed? What if what I planned, no matter how well intended, isn't what needs my concentration right now? I admit that there are multiple aspects of my life that are running simultaneously and I'm not always aware of which one should take priority, so I choose to view the unexpected changes as assistance to concentrate on what requires precedence. Without the perception of changes being disruptions to myself, every effort I make to resolve adversity becomes experiences to grow from.
